The renowned Sabi Sand Nature Reserve shares an unfenced boundary with Kruger National Park, allowing wildlife to move freely across this vast wilderness.

The reserve is particularly renowned for its leopard sightings and offers excellent opportunities to see the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo – alongside cheetah, wild dog and an impressive variety of other wildlife.

Sabi Sand is also an outstanding destination for birdlife, with hundreds of species recorded across the reserve.

BEST TIME TO VISIT KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Kruger National Park is a rewarding safari destination throughout the year.

The dry winter months, generally from May to September, are particularly popular for wildlife viewing. Vegetation is less dense and animals often gather around rivers and waterholes, making them easier to spot.

The warmer summer months bring lush green landscapes, dramatic skies and abundant birdlife. This is also the season when many animals have their young, creating a very different but equally rewarding safari experience.

The best time to visit will depend on your preferred safari experience and travel dates.

Day 1: Johannesburg – Arrive Kruger Airstrip

Your flight from Johannesburg to Kruger and return is included.

On arrival at Kruger Airstrip, you will be met and transferred to the lodge before embarking on an afternoon game drive. The Private Game Reserve forms part of the exclusive selection of private game reserves that border the unfenced Kruger National Park. As there are no fences, the animals can wander between the reserves as they please.

Dinner and overnight at your selected Lodge

Day 2 and Day 3 : 2 Days of Fantastic close-up experiences with Africa’s wildlife on every game drive.

Spend the mornings and late afternoons in search of animals. The Reserve is home to the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo), as well as cheetah, wild dog and other species.

Day 4: Departure

Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Transfer from your lodge to Kruger Airport for your return flight to Johannesburg.
