Location:

Situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, in the centre of the Samburu Game Reserve in Kenya's rugged, semi-arid Northern Province. Samburu Serena Lodge captures the earthy rhythms of riverfront life. The flavour is rustic but sophisticated.

Accommodation:

62 Rooms, including 8 family rooms. All guest rooms have private verandahs that overlook the river where crocodiles feed in full view.

Swimming Pool, Camel Safaris, Tribal dance performances daily. Qualified naturalist leads birdsighting walks on the lodge grounds. Expert slide shows/lectures are given every evening.

The surrounding terrain is renowned for rare game - long-necked gerunuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated Giraffe, and Beisa Oryx. Leopard are frequent passersby. Game drives and bird-watching safaris are the ideal way to experience the native wildlife in its natural splendour.
