ITINERARY:
Day 1: Selous Wilderness Camp, Selous Game Reserve
Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport, transfer to domestic terminal for Coastal or Zanair flight to the Selous, Mtemere airstrip. After being greeted by Selous Wilderness staff, road transfer to the camp where you will enjoy a late afternoon lunch and boat safari where you can view the immense wildlife of the Rufiji River.
Days 2 & 4: Selous Wilderness Camp, Selous Game Reserve
Choice of two activities per day (or full day game drives in the Selous) either boat safari, walking safari or game drive. *entry in the Selous is USD 75 per person per day.
Day 5 & 6: The Swahili House, Stone Town, Zanzibar
After breakfast enjoy a walking safari, transfer back to Mtemere airstrip in order to connect with Zanair or Coastal to Zanzibar. Meet & great at Zanzibar Airport, transfer to The Swahili House for 2 nights in Deluxe room on BB basis.
Day 7 - 9 : Fumba Beach Lodge or Unguja Lodge, Zanzibar
Transfer to Fumba Beach Lodge or Unguja Lodge, 3 nights in Deluxe seaview room on HB basis or Unguja Lodge in Villa on HB basis.
Day 10
Transfer to Zanzibar airport and flight to Dar es Salaam in order to connect with the international flight departure.
