General Information

South Africa's mix of races and cultures, together with its outstandingly beautiful scenery, spectacular wildlife, and excellent entertainment makes it one of the world's most intriguing holiday destinations. The game reserves are amongst the best on the continent, in terms of both wildlife and facilities.  The country also offers the amazing beauty of Cape Town, dramatic landscapes of the Garden Route, peaceful winelands, good shopping, trendy cafes, bars & restaurants, and the excitement of gaming in magical Sun City.

Cape Town - Magnificent views from Table Mountain, reached by cable car, dramatic Cape Point; Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the Cape Country, the spectacular Garden Route from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth; and Robben Island, the former prison that housed Nelson Mandela.

The Garden Route - the renowned Garden Route stretching from Mossel Bay to Port Elizabeth is a mosaic of sweeping forests, simmering lakes, unspoiled beaches and beautiful mountain passes.  The charming towns along the Garden Route are filled with history, culture, fine food, sport and entertainment as well as beautiful landscapes and stunning coastlines. The Western Cape and Garden Route can be explored as side trips from Cape Town or as an independent self-drive journey from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth.

Sun City - Africa's kingdom of pleasure.  Less than two hours' drive from Johannesburg, Sun City offers fine hotels, superb sports facilities, two magnificent golf courses, and truly great entertainment in a uniquely exciting environment.  The complex, set amongst winding paths, cascades, pools and trees, lies beside a tranquil lake surrounded by the imposing Pilansberg Mountains.
