This exciting safari takes you through some of Tanzania's finest reserves.  Lake Manyara National Park in the Great Rift Valley abounds in elephant, hippo and buffalo.  The eighth wonder of the world - Ngorongoro Crater - rising high above the Serengeti plains, is a vast, natural amphitheatre rich in wildlife. 

The Serengeti is a magnificently vast expanse of savannah where lions, cheetahs and hyenas stalk their prey.

Beach extensions to Mombasa and Zanzibar may be arranged for a relaxing end to your holiday.

Day 1: Nairobi                                                                                                                                                                

 We meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel.  Overnight in Nairobi

Day 2: Nairobi - Lake Manyara National Park    Option:  Add a 2 night 3 day Safari to the Maasai Mara National Park before proceeding on to Tanzania.                                                                                                         

  Depart after breakfast for Arusha via Namanga border.  Arrive at your lodge in Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the foot of the Great Rift Valley, in time for an afternoon game drive.  Overnight at Lake Manyara.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park - Ngorongoro                                                                                                        

 Proceed on your journey through the lush, tranquil beauty of the Ngorongoro highlands.  Your lodge, located on the rim of the crater, offers breathtaking views as you enjoy a stunning sunset.  Overnight in Ngorongoro.           

Day 4: Ngorongoro                                                                                                                                                   

 Descend into the crater for a full afternoon of game-viewing.  Endangered black rhinos, cheetahs and elephants can be found .Overnight at Ngorongoro.

Day 5: Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park                                                                                                                   

Drive through magnificent scenery to Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge, believed to be the origin of mankind.  Overnight at your lodge in Serengeti.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park                                                                                                                                     

Enjoy thrilling morning and afternoon game drives.  An optional hot-air balloon safari over the vast golden green plains can be organised.  Overnight in Serengeti.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park - Nairobi                                                                                                                            

 Fly to Arusha for an early lunch and transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Nairobi's Wilson Airport.  Onward connections.
