DAY 01

On arrival our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel - The Nairobi Serena Hotel. Lunch and dinner on own arrangements.

Afternoon excursion to the Giraffe Manor, some twenty minutes out of town is a centre for the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Here you can hand feed giraffe from platforms in the gardens of this elegant manor whilst local experts tell of their history and habits.

Nearby the Karen Blixen Museum will bring to life a bygone colonial era made famous by the Film “Out of Africa”.

DAY 02

0700 hrs After an early breakfast depart for Amboseli National Park.(4 hrs)

arriving in time for Lunch.

1600 hrs afternoon Game Drive.

Dinner at the Lodge.

Nestled in the foothills of Kilimanjaro, hidden beneath a copse of giant acacia trees and beside a gently flowing natural spring lies Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. With Kilimanjaro’s 6,000-meter-high snow-capped peaks rising behind the lodge and presiding over the landscape, which boasts more big game than almost anywhere else in Africa, the setting is nothing short of magnificent.

Activities on offer include game drives, sundowners on Observation Hill, traditional feasts and tribal dancing overlooking a waterhole where big game gather, musical evenings and visits to the traditional manyattas of the Amboseli Masai.

Activities include game drives; excursions to Mzima Springs, with its crystal clear water welling up from volcanic rocks and its hippos and crocodiles; The Rhino Sanctuary; Chaimu Lava Floor; Sheitani Lava; and Roaring Rocks, a volcanic hill formation with caves and rocks.

0630 hrs an early morning game drive returning for a late breakfast followed by time at your own leisure.

1300 hrs Lunch at your camp

1600 hrs Afternoon game drive in the reserve before returning to your camp for dinner.

DAY 04

After Breakfast depart for Tsavo National Park in time for lunch at Kilaguni Serena Lodge.

Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is located on a ridge that commands magnificent sweeping views of the Chyulu Hills at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro in middle of the world-renowned Tsavo National Park.

The hotel has 56 bedrooms and a fabulous terrace from which you can witness spectacular African sunsets. Its waterhole is considered to offer the finest terraced savannah game viewing in Kenya, and at night you can listen to the sounds of herds of buffalo and elephant grazing outside your bedroom.

DAY 06

0700 hrs After breakfast depart for the Swahili Coast of Mombasa in time for lunch at Serena Beach Hotel. Rest of day at leisure enjoying the sandy-white beaches of Mombasa.
