Considered to be one of the most beautiful lodges in Tanzania, its beauty can be described as breathtaking. It is built into the faults and contours of a massive rock promontory overlooking the Serengeti Plains. At Lobo, a variety of wildlife can be easily viewed from the bedroom window, the swimming pool and the rock-top. A short drive away leads one into the heart of the Serengeti Plains teeming with wildlife.

This is one of the finest buildings of its type. Lobo is built entirely of wood and glass amid the rough and ragged contours of an enormous rocky headland to the north of Serengeti, and blends perfectly with its surroundings. The lodge offers 75 rooms with private bathroom, and a restaurant. The airstrip is 10 minutes drive from the Lodge. Lobo is an ideal location to witness the woodland ecosystem.

Climb atop the kopje to the hotel's sundowner deck, and watch the horizon ablaze with the setting African sun.
