Mount Kenya Safari Club
, this magnificent resort was
built on the slopes of Mount Kenya during the 1950’s and attracted the
rich and famous, from Hollywood to British royalty. In addition to
luxurious accommodation, the club offers a heated swimming pool, golf,
table tennis, horse-riding, bowls, croquet, scenic walks,
an animal orphanage and much more. With
magnificent views of majestic Mount Kenya, the 115 luxuriously appointed
guest rooms, set in over 100 acres of landscaped gardens, offer a unique
blend of comfort, relaxation and adventure.

Larsens Camp
Larsens Tented Camp is set in lush
lawns on the bank of the Uaso Nyiro River, Tranquillity
and nature embrace you the minute you enter Larsen’s with the river being
the perfect stage for an endless pageant of wildlife - elephants rolling
and trumpeting in the shallows, timid impala nervously drinking, baboons
and vervet monkeys swinging through the canopy of trees. An animal viewing
platform in a tree lets you scan the vast Samburu plain. There are game
drives, champagne breakfasts on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, sunset
cocktails in the wild, bird walks and black tie dinners in the dining
tent. There are 20 spacious en suite airy tents all raised on wooden
platforms. The dining tent is open on three sides and faces the river. A
first class dinner elegantly served by candlelight on tables set with
silver and Larsen's china.

Your base for the
adventure is the Mara Safari Club, which lies in the north west of the
Masai Mara, at the foot of the Aitong Hills. The camp is positioned on an
ox-bow of the Mara River, so that all en-suite tents have a view of the
hippo-filled river. All
tents have their own private viewing deck from where hippo and crocodile
are regularly seen! Each room has four-poster beds with pillow-top
mattresses and fine linens, 3-piece en-suite facilities with solar-heated
hot, and cold running water, a refreshment centre, in-room safe and
wireless telephone that allows you to set up dining on your deck or
ensures no request is left unfulfilled.
